Lindsay Ostrofski began his professional life a Police Officer with the Qld Police Academy as a foundation cadet in 1972 until completing his career in 1984. During this time he worked throughout Queensland including Brisbane and country centres such as Cloncurry, Charleville, Toowoomba and the Darling Downs. It was during these years that Lindsay through his experience gained an appreciation of the wide range of challenges people faced during different stages in their life.
Because his experiences as a Police Officer taught him to deal with life*s challenges from a practical common sense grounded approach, he found himself not bound to any particular ideological approach to solving peoples problems, but was more interested in what worked to help people achieve their goals.
Lindsay always had that natural ability in helping people with their personal problems and so when he discovered Neuro Linguistic Programming in 1983, he knew that he had discovered a modality that helped people achieve real results in their life.
In 1983-4 Lindsay undertook studies in N.L.P. and Ericksonian hypnotherapy completing his Master Practitioner of N.L.P. in 1986 Since then Lindsay has gone on to assist at training in N.L.P. and hypnotherapy over many years.
Because of his practical nature, Lindsay went onto to study other modalities that were effective in helping people achieve their goals. One of these was the Inner Child theory which to Lindsay, turned the lights on, to solving the mystery in understanding the illogical behaviours that adults sometimes experience. Intellectual intelligence does not resolve the issues where emotional intelligence has its energetic roots.
