2 Hours The nicotine will be gone from your blood stream.

6 hours Your heart beat will slow down and your blood pressure will go down a little (although it may take 30 days before it returns to normal level)

24 Hours The carbon monoxide that has bonded to your red blood cells is excreted from your body. The efficiency of your lungs will improve

48 Hours Your sense will improve sharply. You will start to feel and smell fresher.

3 Days The phlegm that has accumulated in your lungs will start to loosen and during the next few weeks you will cough it up. Cilla, the microscopic hair-like structures that are you body’s natural cleaning mechanisms, will start to recover after being paralysed be cigarette smoke.

3 Weeks A test of your lung function would show it has improved markedly.

2 Months The blood flow to your limbs will have improved and you should have more energy.

3 Months Your lungs will be working properly again. The sperm of men who have stopped smoking will increase in number and act more normally.

5 Years Your risk of sudden death from heart attack will be almost identical to that of non-smokers.

10-15 Years Your risk of death from all causes, including lung cancer, is close to that of someone who has never smoked.

I am impressed with a man who dares,
To show to his clients he really cares.

I am able to give this man recommendation,
As he was able to meet with equation,
Understanding of what I am not,
And assist me ably in weeding my plot,
Of what had grown there in my psychic space,
And had gradually just filled up the place,
With feelings of anger that easily took over,
Almost wiping out my leaves of clover.

He placed a feeling of – “you are worthy to save,
As no one on earth needs go to the grave”

Understanding of – “I am nurtured”,
Was given me like I was watered,
With a lot of love that new exactly what,
Was needed to restore my plot.

I work still with this man of grace,
Who has an understanding face.
Who’ll let you feel what your little child was not allowed,
And insert with the message of an authority loud
With love that has been there to know,
What messages of love will help you grow.

Understanding he can only work wonders,
With the messages of intellect in the unders.
Of our consciousness, that has been tainted with hate,
That a parent unlovingly put on our plate.

Listen well to the words that I say,
These words come from my body of clay.
I was given by Lindsay a second chance,
To lovingly play and laugh and dance.

Lindsay’s explanation of his approach to hypnotherapy is that he uses the vast storehouse of unconscious abilities to help people resolve their past issues and go forward in life.

“Hypnotherapy can help resolve your personal and relationship problems resulting from unresolved childhood issues”, said Lindsay.

“The wounds from our childhood contaminate our lives with insecurities, loneliness, marital problems, addictions, toxic parenting and damaging and painful relationships.

“Our ego defences come from early emotional pain, often numbed and inhibited.

“We repeatedly act our unresolved issues out or project them on to others.

“Since we can’t feel this unfinished business, it expresses itself in behaviour such as workaholism, alcoholism, being people pleasers, high achievers, victims, rebellious or promiscuous, re-enacting the trauma we received onto others.

“Our aim is to finish our unresolved grief from childhood, grief resulting from abandonment, abuse in all forms, the neglect of childhood development dependency needs and the enmeshments that result from family system dysfunction,” he said.

“It is as if we grow up physically and mentally, but emotionally we are like little children striving to get our emotional needs met through perhaps comfort eating, taking our partners prisoner, or developing addictions.

“How many of us can relate to a partner that seems to act childlike in the relationship?

“Sometimes when we look at our lives we can see patterns where we keep going back and repeating the same destructive behaviour. Until we can learn from the experience and integrate changes and beliefs relevant to our present lives, we have no option but to repeat the past.”

Trance is an common every day occurence. In fact we can live a major part of our life in trance and not know it. For example, when we are living in the past we are living in trance. When we are daydreaming, we are experiencing trance. When we are driving our car, and we hear a song on the radio, which perhaps takes us back to our first boyfriend or girlfriend, and we feel the emotions of that time, we are experiencing trance. In the success story of the lad with the phobia of the store dummy, when he was 4 years of age, he visited his grandfathers house.

Intellectual intelligence will not resolve issues that require emotional intelligence.

He was sitting in a chair and he passed away. His face had turned white, with his mouth open. Matthew internalized the trauma and then unconsciously associated this event to store dummies. He as unconsciously acitvated a trance state every time he saw a dummy. The same thing can happen in our relationships, where we project the unfinished buisness of our childhood years onto our partners and make the responsible to fill our insecure needs.

In the hypnotherapy that I practice, my aim is to simply bring people out of their trances states so that they can live and respond more fully in the present moment.

If you can feel it…

We can heal it.

No matter what your emotional state is / limitations are, or even lack of understanding, Lindsay’s experience will guide you through to help gain the results you want.
